Update

The Sidney First Leadership Community blog has been updated with information from our August 23 gathering including Barbara and Jane’s practical instruction on developing a prayer cell to cover your ministry and also with details on the Leadership Covenant. Be sure to check out those posts.

Additionally, in our last meeting Dan focused on the “Spiritual Growth” component of our Leadership Covenant. Stressing that spiritual growth is a journey, he called us to reflect on three key questions. 1) What does it mean to be “teachable”? 2) Where has God revealed Himself to you in your “seeking” this summer. and 3) What does it look like in your life to spend time with God in private and in community?

Chris spoke about seeking God’s vision for our ministry areas, including a focus on on Reaching deeper into God and further our in His love. He also announced plans for a “Tsunami of Kindness” to sweep over our community during the next couple of months.
