August 23 Gathering

Hello fellow Sidney Firsters (is that a real term?),

This Saturday is our next Leadership Community Gathering in the Fellowship Center (level one) at church.  We are anticipating a great day as we worship together, share together, learn together and focus together on the mission God has given each one of us.  And this meeting will be doubly special because…

1. We are having breakfast! As a way to celebrate all that God has done for us, we are going to just sit and enjoy each other.  Please plan on coming a couple minutes (1 or 2) early to grab your plate.

2. We are going to maximize your time.  After much thought and prayer, we have decided to offer Local Link Training (if you aren’t sure, what this is, let me know) on Saturday.  That way, you don’t have to schedule another night out and there will be childcare provided already.  Because of this, here is the new time schedule for this week:

 8:25-10:00  Leadership Community Gathering with breakfast

10:00-11:00 Local Link Training for those who have not done it yet!

 So, if you’ve already gone through Local Link Part A training, you’ll be set free at 10:00 and everyone else can grab another donut and stick around for some great training on how to share your faith with those who are responding to God!  H will be leading this part, so it will be wild and you should not miss it!!!

So, bring your Bibles, notebooks, appetites and your key team and we’ll see ya Saturday morning.
